VILLAIN 101

VILLAIN 101

Welcome to Chapter 7 of Villain 101, the ongoing exploits of my villain, Twilight Dusk, in City of Villains. As usual, the column will be written from two viewpoints, the first from Twilight Dusk's perspective, and the second will be my thoughts on the game so far. Time for some villainy!

Twilight Dusk: After spending some quality time with Crimson Raine doing target practice using hobos, I decided that I needed to get back into the thick of things. After checking the paper, I noticed an article about a Snake named Slythe holding up a bank. The good news for Slythe was that he scored a lot of dough; the bad news for Slythe was that I knew where he was holed up. I told my boys to gear up as that we were going Snake-hunting.

VILLAIN 101

Welcome to Chapter Six of Villain 101, the continuing saga of Twilight Dusk, my character in City of Villains. As usual, the column is written in two voices. The first from Twilight Dusk's viewpoint whilst the other is my take on my gaming experience so far.

Twilight Dusk: I think that I'm in love. I know it's hard to believe, but I guess even hard-core villains such as myself can suffer the pangs of Cupid's arrow. It all started when I decided to make a withdrawal at the local bank. Naturally, the fact that I didn't have an account didn't bother me as that my withdrawal slip consisted of my twin .45s! My boys, Trask and Bouncer, and I slipped into the bank and were getting ready to start the action when the hottest dark-haired woman I've ever seen walked in. She was an absolute vision, wearing a crimson jacket and matching schoolgirl skirt. I noticed that she was wearing glasses which made me almost break into a sweat as that she looked like some sort of evil, hot librarian. Suddenly, she whipped out the biggest rifle I've ever seen and began slinging lead into the closest rent-a-cop! The muzzle flashes from her rifle lit her face up like an angel as she began to laugh manically as she continued shooting at the other bank guards.

VILLAIN 101

As par the course, the column will be written from two perspectives, one from the viewpoint of Twilight Dusk himself, and the other will be my take on the game so far. Let's get to it!

Welcome, future villains, to Chapter 3 of Villain 101, the continuing exploits of Twilight Dusk, my criminal mastermind in City of Villains. As par the course, the column will be written from two perspectives, one from the viewpoint of Twilight Dusk himself, and the other will be my take on the game so far. Onward!

VILLAIN 101

Greetings, lackeys, to the second installment of Villain 101, the ongoing saga of my criminal mastermind, Twilight Dusk, as he continues his adventures in City of Villains. As usual, this column will be written in two voices, one from my perspective, beginning with Jeffprime, while the other, saying Twilight Dusk, will be from the viewpoint of Twilight Dusk himself.

VILLAIN 101

The Beginning:

To start off, we have to decide what sort of villain we want. I've always been a huge fan of the pulp heroes (1930s and 1940s), especially the Shadow. In his stories, the Shadow normally uses a various selection of agents to work for him. Then, when the time comes, the Shadow would swoop in with his twin .45s ablazing dealing instant justice to the bad guys. Man, those were the days when all a hero needed was a fedora and two .45 pistols! :) In going with my like for the Shadow, I've decided to create a Mastermind. Having a group of lackeys at my beck and call sounds pretty sweet. After picking Mastermind, I decide to use thugs (as opposed to mercs, soldiers, ninjas, zombies, or robots) as that it more fits the theme of my guy. Plus, I found out that Masterminds can get the Dual Wield power - twin .45 pistols, baby! :) I also picked up the Dark Miasma power that allows me to heal my thugs.
