'Dark Horizons' was built for one purpose - to allow you to find the latest news, images, clips and reviews of all the current and upcoming blockbuster films all in one place. Also included are some great episode guides to your favourite cult TV shows, as well as a weekly breakdown of films and shows screening in the US, the UK and Australia.

We are building a simple database that will be easy to use and understand, easy to add to, and easy for people to contribute to. We will include information on creator credits, story details, and other information useful to the comic book reader and fan. If we are able to take this to its ultimate conclusion, this database will contain data for every comic book ever published. It will be available to all for a nominal fee (cost of materials and postage, if any). We plan to offer at least limited access to the public at large through the World Wide Web.

Our story begins here... within the barren dark walls of this often condemned, sometimes damned building we now rest. And as it begins, so shall it surely end… a handful of children cold and alone but alone together and cold at home. Their past as dark and torturous as their future. But I get ahead of myself, reveling in the wonderful black tale. Not because I idolize the darkness, but because it is all the truth I know... it is the truth that daylight hides... it is the shadow's truth whispered in darkness that turned my eyes to see the daylight's lies... -A homeless man to his son.

The Mission of The Redeemers is to use our combined powers to tackle evil in Paragon City. We are here to defend the citizens from the vile villainy that plagues the streets of America's finest city. The Redeemers have made an oath, a vow, a promise to smite evil and protect the weak. We will Redeem the justice, Redeem the truth, Redeem the right, and Redeem the good name of this city!

We are a team of insect heroes (spiders and other similar things also allowed). We don't really plan on being strict on RP or requiring a lot of meetings or anything like that. We just want to be a gathering of similarly themed heroes. We are looking for more members, as our current active members number only 4. "We put the ants in the pants of evil!"

The Centurions are prepared to do whatever it takes to protect the people of Paragon City. Sacrificing our own bodies if need be. We are soldiers fighting a war. A war we WILL win. The Centurions come from many backgrounds. Many of them tragic. Some were soldiers back in the day. Some were victims of tragic "accidents". They fight for different reasons, but all for the same thing......Peace

After the alien invasion, the United States of America decided that a team of superhumans were needed to safeguard our country. The Senate called it Project: Overpower, which is exactly what this project would hope to achieve: Overpower evil across the country. Right as they came to this decision, the US Senate was attacked by the Steel Skull and his New World Order. Within three hours, the Steel Skull had complete control over every nation in the world. Luckily, Atomic Man was informed about take-over of the Senate Building. Atomic Man and the Steel Skull engaged in battle and soon, Atomic Man saved the day. The Steel Skull was taken into custody as well as his followers. The President would sign the bill for Project: Overpower. The decision came that Atomic Man would lead up Project: Overpower.

The Union Of Freedom is an organization that uses its members Powers, and Abilities in order to investigate crimes that threaten both the individual and the world at large.

We are now in the process of growing larger and welcome all to join the group and help stop the forces of evil! Paragon City will be protected as long as the Ginyu Force is around!

Brood Dedicated to the first 6 and most powerful vampires to roam the earth. We are true vampires, who have great power and great dark beauty. keeping low profiles only to come when you least expect it to either save the day or just to cause Havoc on the Civilians of the city, but the brood isn't just made up of Vampires. To add more of a balance to the group other dark heroes are welcome to come walk down the road less traveled.

The Sworn Network is a network of mercenaries, but not the kind that you might think of when you hear the term. Members do not go around civilians, or people who have done no wrong. They do not kill superheroes either. They are simply people who are available for anything, anywhere, and will answer a call from anyone in need. However, they are a little harsh in their heroics, and criminals who they are asked to apprehend tend to disappear. Thus, The Sworn Network is shunned from civilized society. Or so some people wish to believe. Because the person sitting next to you on the bus, the person across from you in the checkout line, they all might be one of......THE SWORN NETWORK

The Jumonji Ryu is the "Tenth Clan" of the Ninja, a team of martial artists dedicated to protecting Paragon City in the MMORPG world of "City of Heroes." If you are interested in online gaming and martial arts, if you are willing to undergo the rigors of our dojo to learn ninjutsu fighting techniques and how to apply them in team combat, if you have the determination, the heart, and the soul of a Ninja, then you may become one of us. For in your heart, you may indeed already be, ... a shadow warrior of the Jumonji Ryu!

The Assembly is Paragon City's Premiere Teen-aged Super-Hero team. Founded on the premise that teen heroes deserve as much credit as adult ones, and that fighting evil is cool, the members of the Assembly try to act as professional as possible, without sacrificing the fun!!!
